Love Poems
Hubby Vs. Pets
I have a wonderful hubby;
So please don't take this wrong.
But I also have two wonderful cats;
They know where they belong.
They never give me any grief;
They're happy all the time.
Unlike my wonderful hubby;
Whom on occasion, is known to whine.
They never complain about their food;
Or how it's been prepared.
They eat what's put in front of them;
They always showed they cared.
Sure they have a mind of their own;
And sometimes go astray.
If hubby was a female and did that;
I'd just have to get him spayed.
They always show me gratitude;
For all I do for them.
But hubby can be forgetful;
But that's a common trait in men.
The cats they have some kitty toys;
Filled with a little catnip.
But Hubby’s toys cost a bundle;
And they usually involve a trip.
The cats will hunt on pure instinct;
Which doesn't cost a dime.
But hubby needs the best rifle made;
And the extras and the time.
This poem was written in jest you know;
It’s plain for all to see.
It's just my crazy sense of humor;
Getting the best of me.
It isn't meant to start a war;
So, men lay down your pens.
This was solely about my hubby;
And this is where it ends! :yes
