Those Frustrating Men!
 

All my life I’ve wanted that special love
to last our whole lives through.
All my life I’ve heard, if you’d “this or that”,
you might get a man to love you.

Love happens from the inside out,
not from the outside in.
If I have to appear to be something I’m not,
then no man’s heart I’ll win.

Well, I’ve lived and loved and hoped to find
the desires of my heart.
Maybe it’s time to forget those dreams
and finally get smart.

Most men look at the wrapping so fine,
and ignore any other virtues.
Their pretty girls are soon on their way
to chase after greener pastures.

Guys then wonder where the good women are,
when their best lines fail to deliver.
I look at them and just want to scream,
“Hello, what am I - chopped liver?”
